Your Chef
Your private chef is dedicated to showcasing the diverse and exceptional produce found in and around Queensland’s tropical north food bowl, as well as all the incredibly fresh seafood found in the pristine waters surrounding Lizard Island. The chef will work closely with The House’s guest relations team to design a menu that showcases quintessential Australian cuisine while catering to the unique tastes and special requests of guests.
The Cellar
The House sommelier works closely with the guest relations team to curate the Estate’s vast wine collection to the tastes of guests, hand selecting wines for every single meal and occasion experienced on the island. Additionally, The House is always stocked with a well-rounded and ever-changing selection of Champagne, wine and spirits.
The collection includes an exceptional selection of award-winning wines as well as boutique varieties, renowned Australian chardonnays alongside internationally revered French Bordeaux and Bougelet, rare vintage bottles and Grand Cru. If something is not available, the guest relations team will coordinate with the sommelier ahead of guests’ arrival to source it especially for them.
